I’ve always found black and white photographs to be extremely beautiful, so I decided to take a different approach and document my experiences at WWDMAGIC in this way. Quite honestly, I didn’t really have a chance to snap a lot of photos to share with you as I always seemed to be wrapped up in the day’s exciting events. This photo diary consists of images taken at both the WWDMAGIC and PROJECT/PROJECT Wooster trade-shows as well as FN Platform which focuses primarily on footwear designers both established and emerging. Aside from me speaking at different FN/Teen Vogue panels, also pictured above is a photo of the exit/entrance of PROJECT, the author Charlotte Smith of the beautifully written and illustrated book Dreaming of Chanel— you can see her signing my book! As well as the legendry Miss Betsey Johnson. I’ll let you all catch your breath for a second… Okay time’s up! So lastly, I also wanted to include portraits of some of my new favorite footwear designers including Matt Bernson and Julian Hakes who although differ in aesthetics both have such innovative and unique products that I know (somehow) are going to end up as staple items in my seemingly never endless closet of shoes… You may call it an unhealthy obsession, but I call it an art. To each his own right?
Just as a side-note you can see MANY more photos on my personal style blog (as Tumblr has a limit of only ten photos per post) by clicking HERE. And also stay tuned for more WWDMAGIC coverage and interviews!
